“As you can see, I’m extremely enthusiastic about bringing ideas to life and products to market. I enjoy being of service to others because it brings me joy to see others succeed. Inspiring people who are creative but feel stuck because they don’t know how to put their ideas into action is important to me because I think the ability to materialize a piece of imagination is a superpower we all have.”

“Great ideas can come from anywhere, but making them a reality isn’t always easy.”

Carlos is an innovator, a mechanical engineer, and also the founder of Protomac, a full-service product development company focused on helping people bring their ideas to life in the best way possible.

Well, Carlos is no stranger to transforming concepts.

He joined the US Marine Corps in 2010, where he started out as a diesel mechanic, fixing trucks and combat vehicles. He often had to redesign and manufacture parts for these trucks, and a few years later, in 2013, he went on a combat deployment to Afghanistan to fix blown up combat vehicles.

In addition to restoring wrecked military vehicles, Carlos spent his free time designing and constructing exercise equipment because he was so enthusiastic about working out.

“The base I was stationed at didn’t have any workout equipment available so I started designing and building workout equipment with scrap parts from the trucks. People took note of my work and began commissioning me to create various items for them. And that’s when the idea of Protomac was born. I founded Protomac in 2014 after leaving the military service, and I’ve been helping people bring ideas to life ever since.” — Carlos

Developing Products and Impacting Lives

Carlos has been working in the field of product design and development for several years, and in that time, he has become a seasoned expert in the use of 3D CAD modeling software. He also designed and built his own 3D printers, which are proudly on display on his Instagram page.

He has extensive experience in the research, development, design, procurement, and production of a wide variety of products and has worked on several projects for government agencies, theme parks, startups, and so on. Carlos likes to come up with new ideas in his spare time. Right now, he has a product for sale on Amazon.

In Carlos’s own words…

“As you can see, I’m extremely enthusiastic about bringing ideas to life and products to market. I enjoy being of service to others because it brings me joy to see others succeed. Inspiring people who are creative but feel stuck because they don’t know how to put their ideas into action is important to me because I think the ability to materialize a piece of imagination is a superpower we all have.”
